Aramark is seeking a Cook for Maison Jean Lapointe

Position: Cook

Location: Maison Jean Lapointe (111 Normand Street, Montreal, QC H2Y 2K6)

Schedule: Full-time position. Work schedule will be discussed during the interview.

Salary: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview.

Start Date: August

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Chef in menu preparation

Prepare, cook, and finalize dishes

Set up and maintain workstation mise en place

Demonstrate creativity while meeting the client's specific needs and expectations

Ensure the quality of food services and client satisfaction

Optimize food and labor costs

Ensure compliance with management, health, food safety, and sanitation programs

Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction

Be able to support operational needs as required

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Catering preparation experience is an asset

Strong organizational skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to daily tasks

MAPAQ Food Hygiene and Sanitation Certificate is an asset

Ability to work independently

Positive attitude

Customer service oriented

Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset, as some of our clients are English-speaking
