Aramark is Seeking a Cook for the Food Service Department at École Rive-Nord

Position: Cook

Location: École Rive-Nord

400 Joseph Paquette Street, Bois-des-Filion, QC J6Z 4P7

Salary: Starting at $20.00 per hour, based on experience, to be discussed during the interview.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (following the school calendar)

Start Date: Immediate

Job Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes

Perform daily mise en place

Participate in inventory counts

Assist with meal service

Operate the cash register when required

Reconcile cash receipts and sales transactions

Coordinate the work of the staff under their supervision (3 employees)

Complete production, temperature, waste, and other operational records

Comply with all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards in accordance with applicable legislation, company policies and procedures, and MAPAQ regulations

Qualifications

2 to 3 years of experience in food service or the restaurant industry is an asset

Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service periods

Experience with the Expério cash register system is an asset

Excellent customer service skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Self-motivated and capable of working independently

The successful candidate for this position will be required to complete and successfully pass a criminal background check and a vulnerable sector check (if required by the operation).
