Experience

4–12+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on System Analysis, API-based Integrations, and Enterprise Application Delivery.

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with strong API and integration knowledge to act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and development teams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable system and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. System & Requirement Analysis

Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.

Translate business needs into:

System Requirements

Functional Specifications

API Contracts

Perform gap analysis between current-state and target-state systems.

Recommend scalable and efficient technical solutions.

2. API & Integration

Analyze, define, and document RESTful API requirements, including:

Request/Response Models

Input Validations

Error Handling

Performance Expectations

Support API design reviews while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

Assess upstream and downstream system impacts resulting from API and integration changes.

Collaborate with Solution Architects and Development teams on:

Microservices Architecture

Integration Patterns

Enterprise APIs

3. Delivery & Collaboration

Act as the primary liaison between:

Business Teams

Development Teams

QA Teams

Architecture Teams

Ensure requirement clarity, completeness, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Support:

System Testing

Integration Testing

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Clarify functional issues during development and testing phases and drive timely resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including:

Backlog Grooming

Sprint Planning

Sprint Reviews

Serve as the senior functional authority for requirement-related discussions.

4. Documentation & Governance

Create and maintain:

System Design Documents

Interface Specifications

Data Flow Diagrams

Process Flow Documents

Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability from business needs through development and testing.

Support compliance, governance, and audit activities where applicable.
