Lead II - Software Testing (Automation and API testing)

Role description

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

Design and enhance automation frameworks for scalable testing.

Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.

Mentor team members and promote automation best practices.

Required Skills

8+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.

Strong hands-on experience with:

TestComplete

Selenium

Appium

JUnit

TestNG

Cucumber

Proficiency in one or more scripting/programming languages:

Java

JavaScript

Shell Script

PowerShell

Experience in API automation testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.

Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Knowledge of database testing (SQL and NoSQL).

ISTQB Test Automation Certification.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
