Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, cloud-native applications for member and agent portals. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend and backend technologies, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services. This is a hands-on engineering role that involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, mentoring developers, and contributing to the technical strategy and architecture of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using React, Next.js, Python, Go, and Node.js.

Develop scalable RESTful APIs and backend services following microservices architecture and SOLID design principles.

Participate in application architecture, technical design, and engineering best practices.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

Manage application development throughout the complete SDLC, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.

Collaborate with Product Owners, QA teams, architects, and business stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Work closely with offshore development teams to ensure effective communication, design alignment, and successful project delivery.

Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.

Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes on AWS EKS.

Participate in production support, on-call rotations, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Ensure applications are scalable, secure, reliable, and aligned with business requirements.

Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to engineering practices.

Explore AI-driven development opportunities using Amazon Bedrock and prompt engineering where applicable.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack or backend development.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Frontend: React.js, Next.js

Backend: Python, Go (Golang), Node.js

Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.

Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including:

Amazon EKS

AWS Lambda

API Gateway

CloudFormation and/or Terraform

Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.

Strong understanding of SOLID principles, object-oriented design, and software engineering best practices.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.

Proven experience working with distributed or offshore development teams.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Pharmacy Benefits, or other regulated industries.

Knowledge of Amazon Bedrock, Prompt Engineering, or Generative AI technologies.

Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing tools.

Knowledge of performance optimization, resiliency patterns, and cloud security best practices.

Mobile application development experience is a plus.
