RoR Job Summary

As a Ruby on Rails Engineer, you’ll work on building and maintaining robust web applications that deliver a real value to our users. We need an experienced developer who can handle both frontend and backend development using Ruby on Rails. You'll be working in a collaborative environment, tackling interesting challenges, and contributing to all aspects of our application development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Rails - Develop and maintain Ruby on Rails applications

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features

Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance

Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

Handle both frontend and backend development tasks

Requirements:

Strong experience with Ruby on Rails framework

Above-average communication skills

Strong command of the English language, including professional writing and speaking skills, is essential

Full Stack development experience (frontend and backend)

Solid understanding of web application architecture

Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a team

Familiarity with Git version control

Preferences:

Experience with Hotwire (Turbo and Stimulus)

Testing experience with RSpec

jQuery knowledge (for legacy code maintenance)

Familiarity with Haml templating (for legacy code maintenance)

Docker containerization experience

CSS framework experience with Foundation

Experience with Tailwind CSS
