Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (Automation) Engineer to lead quality engineering initiatives across enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in test automation, quality assurance processes, regression testing, and test strategy execution. This role will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and Project Managers to ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions.
This roe will be responsible for ensuring application quality through a combination of manual and automated testing. The role will help establish and automated testing capabilities across Corporate Functions technology platforms.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Test Strategy & Planning
Define and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
Analyze business and functional requirements and identify automation opportunities.
Review requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
Establish quality metrics and reporting mechanisms.
Test Automation
Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks.
Create and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, integration, and regression testing.
Improve automation coverage and optimize execution efficiency.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Test Execution & Defect Management
Execute manual and automated test cases.
Identify, track, and verify software defects using defect management tools.
Coordinate with development teams for defect resolution and root cause analysis.
Ensure quality standards are met before production releases.
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner with business stakeholders and development teams throughout the SDLC.
Mentor junior QA analysts and automation engineers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.
Support production implementation and release validation activities.
Continuous Improvement
Recommend and implement improvements to QA processes and automation practices.
Promote shift-left testing and quality engineering best practices.
Evaluate emerging testing tools and technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
Strong experience in test automation framework development.
Hands-on experience with:
Selenium WebDriver
Java, Python, or C#
TestNG/JUnit
REST API Testing (Postman/REST Assured)
SQL and database validation
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle management.
Experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM, or similar.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills:
Automation - Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, UFT
API Testing - Postman, REST Assured, SOAP UI
CI/CD - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps
Test Management - Jira, ALM, Zephyr, Xray
Database - SQL, Oracle, SQL Server
Programming - Java, Python, (C# - Good to have)
