Role Summary
We are seeking a motivated engineer to contribute to the development, validation, and delivery of high-quality embedded software for Radio IC and SoC products. This role focuses on automated testing, CI/CD integration, and supporting software quality, traceability, and compliance across the software lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression suites (C, C#, Python)
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
Execute integration, system, and regression testing on embedded platforms
Support traceability between requirements, test implementation, and validation results to ensure audit readiness
Follow established SDLC processes aligned to quality and compliance requirements
Contribute to development and improvement of SQA test frameworks, pipelines, and environments
Support scalable and reusable automated test solutions and test approaches
Contribute to quality metrics (coverage, defects, regression health) and reporting
Investigate defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IC Design, Firmware, Applications, Product, SQA)
Work on moderately complex problems involving system-level interactions
Develop working knowledge of RF/high-speed converter systems and lab instrumentation
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in embedded software development or test
Experience with automated testing, embedded systems, and device drivers
Proficiency in C, C#, and Python
Experience with SDLC tools (Jira, Git, Confluence, GitHub, Jenkins)
Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions)
Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power supply)
Experience with unit testing, code coverage, and regression testing
Proven ability to deliver high-quality software across multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and Docker
Knowledge of RF systems, DSP, or high-speed converters
Experience with test frameworks (NUnit, PyTest, API/system testing)
Familiarity with requirements/test management tools (e.g., Jama)
Strong debugging across hardware/software boundaries
Ability to adapt to changing priorities
