What to Expect:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will transform complex financial data into actionable insights that support business strategy and operational excellence. You'll serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders across the organization while driving reporting improvements. This is a brand-new role.

A day in the life:

Analyze and report monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, providing insights to support business and leadership decision-making.

Maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and processes, ensuring data integrity and reporting accuracy.

Prepare financial analyses, variance reporting, forecasts, and ad hoc modelling to support strategic initiatives.

Support balance sheet reporting, reconciliations, cash flow analysis, technical accounting activities, and IFRS compliance.

Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and implement reporting enhancements.

Contribute to special projects and reporting initiatives that support organizational goals and continuous improvement.

Role Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or a related field; CPA designation is considered an asset.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience with SAP and other financial systems, combined with a strong background in financial reporting or corporate finance.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, with strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

Compensation Range: $75,000-$85,000 CAD
