Senior Tax Accountant

Description

Our senior tax accountants oversee the review and completion of a variety of tax returns. The ideal candidate is a good leader, familiar with the accounting industry, client-focused, and ready to grow with us. This is a full-time, in office position.

Primary Responsibilities:

Preparation and review of the following tax return types:

Individuals (1040) S-corps (1120S) C-Corp (1120) Partnerships (1065)

Manage one to three junior staff members, delegating and reviewing work, providing constructive feedback, and suggesting areas for improvement.

Prepare multiple-scenario tax projection and clearly present them to clients

Manage client relationships, working directly with the partners to ensure all client needs are met

Continue building upon your technical tax knowledge, and develop specific expertise as needed.

Develop internal relationships to foster a culture of collaboration

Provide exceptional client service when called upon

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Master's degree in Taxation

3+ years of tax write-up and/or review experience

Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

3+ years of managing client relationships

Experience in a paperless work environment and ability to adapt to new technologies

Able to manage priorities when simultaneously managing several projects

Able to work overtime during tax season as needed

Preferred Qualifications

CPA license

5+ years of tax write-up and/or review experience

Proficient with Adobe Acrobat, or a similar PDF manipulation software

Familiar with cloud-based accounting programs

Knowledge of Intuit Practice Management

Highly developed problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
