Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced EP Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Seattle, WA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of EP Lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
Heart & Vascular Clinic setting, working within an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
Day shift schedule, Monday–Friday, 0830–1700 (5x8-hour shifts)
No weekend or on-call requirements
Performs EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, arrhythmia induction, conduction studies, AICDs insertion/programming, left atrial appendage (LAA) closure, and pacemaker insertion
Performs cardiac cath lab procedures including pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction/removal and Watchman procedure
Administers and manages antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
Charts using Epic (experience required)
Requirements
Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab required
Current BLS certification required
Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Ability to obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
Epic EMR experience required
Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 3 months and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
Provides electrophysiology nursing care including patient education around lifestyle and medication adherence
Participates in quality improvement initiatives as part of team collaboration
Any color scrubs are acceptable

Travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
All RTO must be disclosed upfront; no additional time off will be accommodated after submission
