Class B: Roll Off Driver - Swing Shift

Cedar Grove Organics is looking for Class B drivers to safely and efficiently operate our Roll-Off trucks. Our Roll-Off Drivers are responsible for unloading and delivering customer dumpsters and bins in the greater Seattle, Everett, and Tacoma areas. This position will be based out of our Seattle facility, and this is a union position with benefits from Teamsters 174. The schedule for this position is Monday thru Friday with a start time of 12:00PM. The initial training period will be Monday thru Friday with a start time of 4:00AM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Operating Class B equipment safely and efficiently in all seasons and weather conditions.

Perform pre-trip inspections and complete log before operating vehicle.

Interact with customers and public in a professional, courteous manner.

Emptying customer containers and bins (recycling, including food waste).

Unloading and delivering customer dumpsters and bins.

Deliver waste to the facility for processing as needed.

Maintaining daily customer billing paperwork.

Maintaining the containers and bins and make replacement recommendations.

Checking each account for, how full the container is for sales.

Required Skills

Must be able to operate a manual transmission.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit, stand, walk and climb in and out of trucks up to 8+ hours per day; answer and talk on telephone; email on occasion and work with the computer system; drive Class B equipment safely! Pay: $27.85 - $31.00 per hour
