About the role
The Phinery is an interior design firm headquartered in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. We are looking for a seasoned interior designer who can effectively consult with clients, write project proposals, deliver selections and drafting documentation, and ensure project execution.
Responsibilities:
Consults with clients on-site.
Scopes projects and writes proposals.
Curates furnishings and decor selections.
Provides hard surface, fixture, and finish selections.
Custom cabinetry design, a plus.
Drafts layouts and elevations.
Window treatment and paint color expertise, a plus.
Presents design recommendations to clients.
Creates quotes and supports order management.
Coordinates installation.
Provides on-site styling services.

Software Expertise in Sketchup or CAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
Skilled in digital layout design/graphic design
2020 Software, a plus
Experience:
Proven experience working directly with clients on residential projects, both related to remodeling and furnishing.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in business, art, interior design, or related field.
Provide his/her own transportation to/from clients homes (typically within a 20 mile radius of the office). Mileage reimbursement is included.
