Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit

Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ensuring proper entry and timely delivery

Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities

Serve food and drinks efficiently

Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards

Support team members during busy hours by coordinating with kitchen staff and other servers

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments

Familiarity with POS systems

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence

Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures

Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment

Basic math skills for order accuracy

Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food industry roles like bussing or serving is highly valued

Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
