The Opportunity:

The Market Manager at Hitachi, Ltd. is responsible for developing and executing market strategies to drive growth and profitability for specific product lines or solutions within a designated market segment. This role involves understanding market dynamics, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

How you'll make an impact:

Conduct market analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities.

Develop and execute market strategies and business plans to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.

Define product and solution roadmaps and manage the full lifecycle, including positioning, pricing, launches, and promotional activities.

Partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product teams to develop value propositions, support commercial initiatives, and drive market success.

Monitor market performance, build relationships with key stakeholders, and represent Hitachi at industry events to strengthen brand presence and thought leadership.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

8–9 years of experience in the electrical industry, with solid understanding of market trends, customer applications, and industry dynamics.

At least 5 years of experience in Market Management, Product Management, Strategic Marketing, or related commercial roles.

Proven success in developing and executing market strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business decisions.

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Proficiency in market research tools, CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and fluent English; Spanish and international travel availability are highly desirable.
