About the role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting critical financial operations and ensuring the reliability of SAP solutions across complex enterprise environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality functional support and drive continuous improvement of financial processes.
Responsibilities
Provide functional support for SAP FICO processes to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations
Analyze and resolve incidents related to financial and controlling activities while maintaining service quality
Gather business requirements from users and translate them into effective SAP solutions
Coordinate with technical teams to design, implement, and validate functional enhancements
Conduct root cause analysis to identify recurring issues and propose sustainable resolutions
Support change management activities and ensure alignment with defined service level agreements
Perform unit, integration, and regression testing to guarantee solution quality and stability
Collaborate with key users, business stakeholders, and cross-module teams to align SAP FICO solutions with operational needs
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting modern tools and best practices to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in functional support and AMS (Application Management Services) operations, specializing in the management, analysis, and resolution of incidents, requirements, enhancements, and change controls within complex SAP environments
Solid experience in financial and controlling processes, including delivering Level 2 and 3 support, gathering requirements from business users, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), ensuring SLA compliance, and safeguarding the operational continuity of financial processes
Extensive functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO submodules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), Treasury (TR), and Controlling (CO)
Experience working with integrations between SAP modules and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and process continuity
Ability to develop functional specifications, coordinate technical development, execute unit and integration tests, and actively participate in continuous improvement activities
Strong communication skills, customer focus, problem-solving abilities, and service-oriented attitude, along with experience adopting Artificial Intelligence tools to accelerate diagnostics and ticket resolution
Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, at a B2+ level or higher
