Part Time Working Student - Building Automation System (HVAC) Software Engineer

We are looking for a Part Time Working Student (Building Automation System (HVAC) Software Engineer).

What are my responsibilities?

Operating in the field ensuring that the highest safety and quality standards are met and safe working practices are followed at all times

Deal positively with customer complaints, quickly resolving these in the most cost-effective way whilst also ensuring that high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained

Realization of programs, scenarios and graphics of HVAC Automation Systems, Lighting Automation Systems and Energy Efficiency Systems

Responsible for increasing own technical and training skills to improve service quality

To understand customer needs and take the necessary actions to produce appropriate solutions

Producing software and integration solutions for service sales opportunities (service and maintenance contracts, spare parts, modernization, etc.) at customer factories

Supply creative feedbacks to increase the quality of service operations and processes

System Design: Building automation system software engineers contribute to the design of the system by understanding customer requirements and the necessary functionalities This includes decisions about the architecture, components and functionality of building automation systems

Software Development: Building automation system software engineers develop the software for the systems. This involves creating control algorithms, designing user interfaces, managing databases and other software-related tasks

Integration: Building automation systems need to be integrated with various devices, sensors and software. Software engineers bring these different components together and ensure data communication

Data Analysis: Systems often generate large amounts of data. Software engineers analyze this data to gain insights into energy efficiency, fault diagnosis and system performance, among other aspects

Testing and Verification: Engineers conduct testing and verification procedures to ensure that the software functions correctly.This is crucial for identifying and rectifying errors and enhancing reliability

Maintenance and Support: Building automation systems require ongoing maintenance. Software engineers maintain systems, ensure proper functionality, resolve issues and implement updates

Updates: Technological advancements and changing requirements may necessitate system updates. Software engineers manage and implement these updates

Training: They may also be responsible for providing training to users to ensure the correct use of the system

Security: Security is a critical aspect of building automation systems. Software engineers work to identify and rectify security vulnerabilities in the systems

What do I need to qualify for this job?

3rd year student in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering

Very good command of English both written and spoken

HVAC Automation Systems, Lighting Automation Systems and Energy Efficiency Systems

Siemens building automation system; He has X Works, ABT Site, ABT Pro, Desigo CC & Desigo Insight software competencies

Knowledge in networking and IT skills

Proficient in building automation system communication protocols, BACnet -IP/MSTP, Modbus - IP/MSTP, Lon, KNX etc

Having the ability to integrate and solve problems with different systems

Experience in national/international projects

Proficiency in MS Office Applications

Product and/or Application Knowledge
