How You’ll Spend Your Day
Receive incoming materials, verify deliveries, and segregate products according to batch, status, and storage requirements.
Inspect, clean, handle, and store raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods in accordance with GMP, Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and company procedures.
Generate and apply barcode labels using SAP or warehouse management systems, ensuring all information matches supplier documentation.
Perform sampling of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products in designated sampling areas while maintaining sampling booths in accordance with SOPs.
Retain representative samples and coordinate their transfer to the Quality Control laboratory.
Transfer approved materials between warehouses, manufacturing, and packaging areas following approved procedures and documentation requirements.
Use SAP and other warehouse systems to accurately record inventory transactions, stock movements, stock transfers, and stock adjustments.
Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet stackers, reach trucks, forklifts, shrink wrappers, label printers, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain warehouse equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) in good working condition.
Verify that only materials with approved quality status are issued and ensure products are free from damage before distribution.
Maintain accurate inventory records by product, batch number, quantity, and storage location through routine inventory control activities.
Support stock counts and periodic inventory reconciliation exercises to maintain inventory accuracy.
Handle general and hazardous waste according to company procedures and environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with problem-solving activities, process improvements, and projects aimed at increasing operational efficiency and quality.
Complete all warehouse documentation accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
Report deviations, damaged materials, safety concerns, or procedural non-conformances to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while complying with GMP, EHS, and company policies.
Perform additional duties as required to support warehouse operations.
Your Skills and Experience
Ordinary Level standard of education or equivalent school leaving certificate.
Minimum of one year's experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
Previous experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or electric pallet stackers is considered an asset; valid certification is preferred.
Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes.
Basic computer skills, with experience using SAP or warehouse management systems considered an advantage.
Good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and safe material handling principles is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and completing documentation.
Responsible, reliable, and motivated with a strong sense of accountability.
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
