Serving securities firms, asset managers, banks, insurance companies, investment firms, corporations, universities, and research institutions, Wind delivers comprehensive financial data, analytics, trading, and research solutions. As the company continues its international expansion, we are establishing our Brazil operation to better serve the Latin American financial market.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Country Head – Brazil to lead the establishment and long-term growth of Wind Information's Brazilian business.

As the senior executive responsible for Brazil, you will oversee business strategy, commercial growth, organizational development, product localization, external partnerships, and daily operations. Working closely with headquarters, you will build our local platform from the ground up and drive Wind's expansion within Brazil's financial information industry.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership

Develop and execute Wind's overall business strategy for Brazil.

Own revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business development.

Establish annual business plans, budgets, and KPIs.

Analyze market opportunities, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments.

Provide strategic recommendations and regular business updates to headquarters.

Team Building & Leadership

Build and lead the Brazil organization across Sales, Product, Technology, Operations, and Compliance.

Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing local team.

Define organizational structure, performance expectations, and collaboration mechanisms.

Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with global headquarters.

Sales & Business Development

Develop and execute commercial growth plans. relationships with financial institutions, asset managers, corporations, and academic institutions.

Lead strategic account management and major commercial negotiations.

Strengthen Wind's brand awareness and market presence in Brazil.

Product Localization

Drive localization of Wind's products based on Brazilian market needs.

Coordinate with headquarters on product development and pricing strategy.

Collect customer feedback and market intelligence to improve products.

Monitor fintech and financial data industry trends to support innovation.

External Relations

Represent Wind in Brazil as the company's senior executive.

Build relationships with exchanges, regulators, financial institutions, government agencies, universities, data providers, and industry associations.

Represent the company at conferences, executive meetings, and industry events.

Operations & Governance

Oversee daily operations of the Brazil office.

Manage budgets, vendors, operational processes, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with headquarters on legal, compliance, finance, HR, technology, and information security matters.

Ensure compliance with Brazilian regulations and company policies.

Identify and manage business and operational risks.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's degree or above.

Preferred majors include Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

Experience

Extensive leadership experience in financial information services, financial data, fintech, capital markets, enterprise software, or related industries.

Demonstrated success building and growing a business from the ground up.

Strong understanding of Brazil's financial markets and institutional client ecosystem.

Proven track record in sales leadership, business development, strategic partnerships, or key account management.

Excellent leadership, commercial judgment, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial and cross-cultural environment.

Languages

Native-level Portuguese.

Fluent English.

Chinese is a plus but not required.
