About the Role
WeCredit is looking for a dynamic and relationship-driven Partnerships & Strategic Alliances Manager to strengthen and our lending ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, onboarding, and managing lending partners while developing strategic alliances that drive business growth. This role requires strong industry knowledge, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build long-term partnerships within the BFSI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities Lender Onboarding
Identify and establish strategic partnerships that enhance WeCredit's product offerings and market presence.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate partnership agreements.
Structure mutually beneficial partnerships aligned with the company's business objectives.
Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for existing lending partners.
Build and nurture long-term relationships to ensure partner satisfaction and business growth.
Address partner queries, concerns, and operational issues in a timely manner.
Strategic Alliances & Partnerships
Identify and establish strategic partnerships that enhance WeCredit's product offerings and market presence.
Lead commercial discussions and negotiate partnership agreements.
Structure mutually beneficial partnerships aligned with the company's business objectives.
Market Research & Business Development
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the BFSI sector.
Identify emerging fintechs, NBFCs, banks, and financial institutions for potential collaborations.
Evaluate new business opportunities that support the company's long-term growth strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
Ensure all partnership agreements comply with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
Performance Management
Monitor the performance of lending partnerships using defined business metrics.
Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and strategic insights for senior leadership.
Recommend improvements to maximize partner performance and business outcomes.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
Proven experience in Partnerships, Strategic Alliances, Business Development, or Alliance Management within the BFSI, FinTech, Banking, NBFC, or Lending industry.
Strong understanding of lending products, digital lending, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks.
