What you have
Role Description:
This role will support the future growth of the Schwab Asset Management business. As a Sr Manager, Scrum Master Senior, you will be leading multiple Agile teams, helping the teams deliver ever-increasing customer and business value. You will enable the Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. This role requires a highly motivated, organized, and business-focused Scrum Master with a proven record of delivery. You have a desire to continuously improve a highly customized technology stack that is critical to SAM’s competitive advantage in the asset management industry. You thrive working in a team environment, both with technical and business partners, while being a self-motivated problem solver.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as scrum master for at least two Agile development teams
Conduct quarterly planning sessions, helping to prioritize both business-focused and technology mandatated initiatives
Provide assistance as-needed across group of Scrum Masters supporting Schwab Asset Management Technology.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related degree, OR related practical experience
Hands on experience gained through at least 5 years leading Agile teams building complex software solutions
Expertise managing Agile ceremonies, leveraging Jira and Confluence for planning and documentation purposes
Scrum Master Professional certification
Strong ownership mentality with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to communicate with all levels of the Engineering and Investments organizations to discuss issues and work through strategic planning.
Experience in empathetic negotiation, facilitation, and conflict resolution to navigate complex situations, consider others' viewpoints, and foster productive interactions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Responsible for ensuring the Change Implementation Management policies are adhered to for all changes deployed to Production

Ability to work independently and also collaborate with all types of stakeholders, both technical and business, peers, and leaders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and learn new technologies
Strong customer focus with a sense of ownership and determination to drive solutions in a collaborative environment.
