Job Description:

1) Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Food packaging business is to promote and increase the consumption of aluminium in Food Packaging applications. The purpose of this role is to develop and grow the sales of aluminium food packaging products of Hindalco in Bihar & Jharkhand.

The role holder would be required to grow the presence of Hindalco products in Traditional Tarde channels through increasing the depth and width of the distribution channels. Sales Planning, Competition landscaping, Distribution growth, Channel Management, Team management, Cash Collections Management and Credit management would be some of the skills that would get developed in the role.

Supporting Actions

Sales

Responsible for planning, driving and executing the sales activities in the assigned territory.

Ideate and execute innovating sales promotion activities in the territory to help achieve sales targets

Ensure quick communication of pricing and promotional schemes launched by the company to help maximize sales

Provide accurate inputs to the sales planning process of the business

Keep a close watch on the primary, secondary and tertiary sales to ensure adequate and healthy stock levels across the distribution chain

Distribution Reach

Responsible to maintain and the customer base

Strengthen and nurture existing distribution retail points

Add new distribution points

Complaints Management

Work closely with concerned stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of customer complaints

Commercials

Achieve accounts receivables targets every month

Ensure accurate credit notes are raised in a timely manner to help timely settlements

Ensure adequate financing is available to support sales ambition of the organization in the territory

People

Train and develop people in the team to help them contribute to the organizations goals as well as help achieve professional goals.

Reporting and MIS

Prepare the necessary reports on KPIs and share in a timely manner with the business
