Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Python Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Python Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions, contributing to the entire software development lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design, implement, test, and deploy innovative software solutions.

Django Backend Developer

Location: On-site

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (Based on Skills & Experience)

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred

You will collaborate with Frontend, AI/ML, QA, and DevOps teams to develop enterprise-grade applications while following modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework (DRF).

Develop secure and well-documented REST APIs.

Build reusable, modular, and maintainable code following industry best practices.

Improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Task Scheduling & Background Processing

Build asynchronous task processing using Celery.

Configure and maintain Redis, Cron Jobs, and scheduled background services.

Optimize queue execution and monitor background jobs.

Performance Optimization

Profile applications to identify bottlenecks.

Optimize CPU and memory usage.

Improve API response times and backend efficiency.

Refactor legacy code for better maintainability and performance.

Database Management

Design efficient database schemas.

Optimize ORM queries and SQL performance.

Eliminate N+1 query issues.

Improve indexing, transactions, and query execution.

Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.

Third-Party API Integration

Integrate and maintain services including:

Razorpay

Cashfree

Payment Webhooks

SMS & Email Gateways

Authentication Providers

AWS S3

DigitalOcean Spaces

External REST APIs

Security & Authentication

Implement enterprise-grade security including:

JWT Authentication

OAuth2

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

CSRF Protection

XSS Prevention

SQL Injection Protection

Secure API Design

Version Control & Project Workflow

Follow clean Git workflows and GitFlow branching strategy.

Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Resolve merge conflicts efficiently.

Understand complete application flow from frontend to backend.

Break complex features into structured technical tasks.

Contribute to architecture discussions and technical planning.

Debug production issues efficiently.

Perform root-cause analysis.

Maintain high code quality and test coverage.
