Overview:
The Tax Specialist supports corporate tax compliance, reporting, and accounting activities to ensure accurate tax filings, timely payments, and adherence to regulatory requirements. This role plays a critical part in maintaining tax record integrity, supporting audits, and assisting the organization in meeting local and international tax obligations while contributing to efficient financial operations.

What You Will Do:
Prepare tax computations and handle the filing and payment of tax returns for assigned entities
Ensure timely and accurate compliance with tax reporting and payment requirements
Maintain accurate tax records, documentation, and supporting schedules for audits and compliance reviews
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and tax rollforward analyses for assigned tax accounts
Perform month-end close activities related to tax accounts and transactions
Support tax audits by preparing and providing requirements to tax auditors and consultants
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess potential impacts on the business
Partner with internal stakeholders on tax-related matters involving contracts, transactions, and projects
Assist the Tax Manager with special projects, process improvements, and other tax initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
What You Need to Succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Accountancy, or a related field
Experience in taxation, tax compliance, tax accounting, or finance-related functions
CPA license preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of tax regulations, tax reporting, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
