AI Innovation Engineer
Skills
About the role
You're not waiting for someone to tell you what's next. You're the one who's already found it, an inventor at heart who treats AI not as hype but as your sharpest tool
What will you do?
In our innovation team, you work on prototypes, pilots, and digital experiences where AI is your engine, not an afterthought. A client or colleague hands you a question, but you don't just answer it. You question the premise behind it, reframe it, and often arrive at a sharper problem than the one you were handed.
A large part of the role is proactive: bringing concepts, ideas, and insights to the table that the client or organization hadn't even thought of yet. You combine technical depth with creative instinct: training and fine-tuning models, building agent workflows, GPT-powered interfaces, and interactive installations.
A glimpse of your work:
Challenge the brief: you don't take a client's question at face value; you strip it down to its essence and come back with a sharper, more surprising angle
Proactively experiment: you build prototypes of ideas the client didn't even know they needed
Build vector databases, custom LLM applications, and AI-driven interfaces that keep brand voice and user experience intact
Test, iterate, and pivot fast, treating a change in direction as new information, not a setback
Pitch your ideas to clients and colleagues, translating technical possibilities into business value
Work closely with designers, developers, and stakeholders, moving effortlessly between code, concept, and client conversation
Who are we looking for?
You have a genuine drive to create, an inventor's mindset that pushes you to stay ahead of what's possible and keep discovering what the newest technologies unlock. You have strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, or C#, and experience with LLMs, AI tools, or interactive platforms like Unity. You track new APIs and bleeding-edge AI capabilities closely, and you prototype out of pure curiosity, even when nobody asked.
You're comfortable with change: in innovation and proof-of-concept work, the thing you're building shifts constantly as new insights come in, and that energizes you rather than stresses you out. You're as much a dreamer and instigator as you are a builder, and a team player who's just as comfortable running a code review as convincing a client.
The challenge
We don't ask for a resume. We want to see something real: a prototype, a tool, a proof-of-concept, or a question you're obsessed with. It doesn't need to be polished, but it needs to show you can build, think, and execute at a high level.
