Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed CPO Incident Response in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to employees, customers, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at the financial institution.
Maintain a professional armed presence and handle assigned firearms in accordance with licensing requirements, Allied Universal standards, and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to designated personnel and/or law enforcement as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and incidents through accurate written and/or electronic documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
Meet the requirements for a Custom Protection Officer.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years of age.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
