System Administrator (IT & PBX Systems)

We are looking for a dedicated System Administrator to join our team and help manage our telephony and IT infrastructure.
The Role:
A System Administrator with strong experience in PBX systems and telephony administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting our voice infrastructure while also supporting core IT systems and office network setups. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with communication platforms, resolving technical issues, and ensuring reliable business operations.
Key Responsibilities
● Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot PBX systems and telephony services
● Configure and manage SIP trunks, inbound and outbound routes, IVRs, call queues, extensions, and call flows
● Monitor PBX performance and investigate voice quality or connectivity issues
● Generate, export, and analyze call reports and telephony statistics
● Support the deployment and configuration of new PBX systems and telephony solutions
● Troubleshoot and resolve telephony-related incidents and user requests
● Install, configure, and maintain workstations, software, and IT systems
● Set up and maintain basic office network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and internet connectivity
● Assist with Active Directory user and group management
● Configure and maintain basic firewall (FortiGate experience is an advantage)
● Monitor system performance and ensure adherence to IT security best practices
● Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
● Provide technical support to internal users when required
What We're Looking For
● Minimum 2–3 years of experience in System Administration, PBX Administration, or a similar role
● Strong hands-on experience with PBX platforms such as 3CX, Asterisk, FreePBX, Yeastar, Grandstream, or similar systems
● Experience configuring SIP trunks, routing rules, extensions, IVRs, call queues, and telephony reporting
● Ability to diagnose and resolve PBX and VoIP-related issues
● Good understanding of VoIP technologies and SIP protocols
● Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and firewall concepts
● Ability to set up and support small office network environments
● Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
● Familiarity with Active Directory environments
● Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
