Graphic Designer

A Sublimation Jersey Graphic Designer is responsible for creating unique and visually striking designs for sports jerseys, apparel, or merchandise using sublimation printing techniques. This role combines creativity, technical skills, and knowledge of sublimation printing to produce high-quality graphics that are transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Design Creation: Developing original and eye-catching designs for sports jerseys, team uniforms, or promotional apparel. This includes working with team logos, sponsor logos, colors, and patterns that align with the team's identity or client's brand.

Sublimation Printing Knowledge: Understanding the sublimation printing process and its requirements, including the limitations of fabric, color management, and ensuring designs can be reproduced accurately on various fabric types.

Customization: Collaborating with clients or sports teams to incorporate their specific needs and preferences, such as personalized names, numbers, or special graphics.

Software Proficiency: Using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or other vector-based applications to create scalable graphics suitable for sublimation printing.

Prepress Preparation: Preparing files for print, ensuring they are in the correct format, resolution, and color profile for sublimation printing. This includes setting up templates for different jersey sizes and styles.

Trend Awareness: Staying updated on design trends in the sports and fashion industry to ensure the designs remain modern, appealing, and competitive.

Quality Control: Reviewing and testing the printed designs to ensure color accuracy, quality of graphics, and proper placement on the jersey before production.

Collaboration: Working closely with other team members such as marketing professionals, production staff, and clients to ensure the final product aligns with the vision.

This role requires a combination of artistic flair, technical knowledge of printing processes, and the ability to work with clients to deliver high-quality, customized jerseys. A sublimation jersey graphic designer should also have an understanding of different fabrics and their suitability for sublimation, as well as the ability to solve problems related to design or print issues.
