Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple ServiceNow products, define platform standards, ensure solution quality, and guide development teams through the complete software development lifecycle. The Technical Architect partners with business stakeholders, solution architects, and project teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing ServiceNow implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Define the overall technical architecture for ServiceNow implementations and platform enhancements.

Lead solution design workshops and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Design end-to-end architecture across multiple ServiceNow products, including:

ITSM

ITOM

ITAM

SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management)

HR Service Delivery (HRSD)

Customer Service Management (CSM)

Integrated Risk Management (IRM/GRC)

Service Catalog and Employee Center

Establish platform development standards, coding guidelines, and governance.

Review technical designs, customizations, integrations, and configurations to ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices.

Design and oversee enterprise integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and event-driven patterns.

Lead platform upgrades, performance optimization, and technical debt reduction initiatives.

Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for developers and implementation teams.

Support solution estimation, technical planning, risk assessment, and project delivery.

Ensure platform security, scalability, availability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, product owners, and project managers.

Required Skills

8–12+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years in ServiceNow architecture and implementation.

Deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform architecture and application framework.

Strong knowledge of:

Experience designing complex integrations using REST, SOAP, OAuth, and MID Server.

Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.

Experience with DevOps, source control, CI/CD, and automated testing (ATF).

Knowledge of performance tuning, security best practices, and platform governance.

Experience leading enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly preferred)

One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HRSD, CSM, IRM)

Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Salesforce.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
