Location: Lyon - Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite
Reports to: Manager II, Controllership, Europe
Join Electronic Arts, where our mission is to inspire the world to play. As a Senior Accountant, you will be an important member of our Controllership team, supporting multiple international legal entities across Europe and beyond. You will report to the Manager II, Controllership, Europe, and help us ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial information. Our team values creativity, inclusion, and collaboration, and you will work with partners across finance, business, and audit in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities:
You will oversee the end-to-end close process for assigned legal entities, ensuring accurate US GAAP and local statutory reporting.
You will maintain an internal control environment, including SOX compliance, and support us in meeting statutory, tax, and regulatory obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
You will partner with Tax, Treasury, Transfer Pricing, Shared Services, and advisors to resolve accounting, reporting, and compliance matters for our European operations.
You will guide automation and standardization projects, improving finance processes and communicating clear recommendations, and risk assessments to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of progressive experience in audit, accounting, or controllership, including experience within a multinational organization.
Experience preparing US GAAP and local statutory financial statements for multiple legal entities, including compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
Experience using Oracle and Power BI, with interest in AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and business processes.
