About the role

Overview

As a Microsoft Logistics technician Manager / Data Center Inventory & Asset Technician Manager (DIAM), you will lead a team of Inventory & Asset Management technicians responsible for inbound/outbound logistics tasks, inventory cycle audits, and Data Center regulatory compliance activities. You will guide your employees to effectively run warranty processes and data bearing device (DBD) destruction. This opportunity will allow you to model leadership principles, drive focus on accurately and efficiently completing Inventory and Asset Management (IAM) tasks, and work with stakeholders to manage escalations as they arise.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop the logistics team through coaching, accountability and a strong, inclusive culture

Own end‑to‑end daily operations, ensuring efficient and reliable inbound and outbound processes

Optimize resources and workflows to meet service levels, quality standards, and delivery timelines

Drive planning and execution of cross‑functional projects with clear stakeholder communication

Proactively identify, track, and resolve operational issues with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers

Manage third‑party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with data handling and destruction policies

Ensure adherence to procurement processes, contracts, and purchase order execution

Oversee procurement requests supporting infrastructure and operational requirements

Champion operational excellence, continuous improvement, and standardization of best practices

Act as a subject matter expert, mentoring team members and elevating team capability

Conduct or assist in conducting daily safety briefings, completes required safety training, provides guidance to technicians to facilitate compliance with safety procedures (e.g., Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, rack moving, heavy-equipment usage, lifting, ladder/rolling stair use).

Identify and implement opportunities for simplification, efficiency, and automation

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma AND experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, logistics, or a related field OR equivalent experience.

This role requires fluency in reading, writing, and conversational French and English, as all business operations and stakeholder communications are conducted in these languages

Experience in people management OR team leadership OR vendor/team coordination

Background Check Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Logistics Technician M3 - The typical base pay range for this role across France is € 46,400.00 - € 82,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
