Service Now Developer-Assistant Manager- Hyderabad

As a ServiceNow Platform Senior Configurer/Developer (Assistant Manager), you will serve as a senior technical contributor within the Deloitte Technology Canada Platform Team. You will be responsible for helping evolve the ServiceNow platform, leading complex configuration and development activities, mentoring junior developers, and partnering closely with Canadian platform leaders.

Unlike traditional project-based ServiceNow development roles, this position focuses on platform ownership, reusable capabilities, engineering productivity, governance, standards, enablement, and platform modernization.

As a Service now developer on the Platforms team, you will be responsible for...

Contribute to the ServiceNow platform roadmap and technical direction, and recommend platform enhancements and modernization opportunities.

Lead design and implementation of complex ServiceNow solutions, including reusable frameworks, integrations, workflows, CMDB, and platform services.

Configure and support enterprise-scale implementations across multiple ServiceNow modules, and support complex troubleshooting and platform optimization activities.

Promote platform governance and architectural standards, guide teams toward OOTB-first solutions and platform best practices, and participate in technical reviews, code reviews, design reviews, and architecture discussions.

Support shared ServiceNow platform services by mentoring developers and configurators, creating onboarding materials and technical patterns, and driving improvements in testing, deployment automation, environment management, and developer experience.

The team

A new platform team has been formed to enable faster, safer, and more scalable delivery through reusable platforms, automation, and engineering standards. "ServiceNow" is one of the platforms within this team. Deloitte Canada needs a Senior Analyst to serve as a technical contributor and help evolve the ServiceNow platform.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Qualifications

Required:

6-7.5 years of ServiceNow experience

Experience leading complex ServiceNow implementations

Experience working across multiple ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, HRSD, ITOM, SPM, SAM, HAM, CSM, or IRM/GRC

Experience mentoring developers and providing technical leadership

Experience with ServiceNow platform architecture, platform security, governance, and architecture discussions

Experience with CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Script Includes, Business Rules, ACLs, and REST/SOAP integrations

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Preferred:

Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Implementation Specialist (ITSM preferred)

Additional Implementation Specialist certifications in HRSD, CSM, SPM, ITOM, SAM, or HAM

ITIL Foundation Certification

Certified Technical Architect journey certifications considered an asset
