About the Role This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality software, participate in continuous improvement initiatives, and stay up to date with emerging technologies. The role requires strong technical skills, collaboration, and a commitment to best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Develop and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.

Optimize application performance and scalability.

Maintain application security and ensure compliance with coding standards.

Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Develop strong proficiency in Java (Java 8/11/17 or later).

Demonstrate good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

Utilize experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.

Apply knowledge of RESTful web services and Microservices architecture.

Leverage experience with Hibernate/JPA.

Showcase strong SQL skills with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

Demonstrate familiarity with Git and version control systems.

Understand Maven or Gradle build tools.

Apply experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.

Implement knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
