The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

We are the strategic backbone of Shopee’s regional logistics network. Our team leads financial forecasting, deep-dive data analytics, and cross-functional cost optimisation projects across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil. We partner directly with operational leaders to solve complex logistics challenges, drive efficiency, and shape boardroom-ready business strategies.

Job Description:

Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead development of comprehensive financial plans and forecasts, ensuring alignment with the Company's strategic objectives; Monitor financial performance against forecasts, and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to optimise financial outcomes

Innovative Project Leadership: Spearhead end-to-end projects by identifying, analysing, and solving diverse operational challenges with a focus on cost optimization and enhancing process efficiency

Data Analytics & Insights: Generate comprehensive financial reports and dashboards to drive actionable insights and shape strategic decisions

Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth research of business trends, industry benchmarks, and competitive landscape to inform strategic planning of the business

Operational Collaboration: Partner with the Operations team to plan, manage, and control operational costs; Gain a deep understanding of drivers impacting actual results, providing financial insights and analysis to guide project planning and execution

Requirements:

Bacheolor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Accountancy or related fields; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required

Working experience in strategy/financial planning and analysis, preferably in the e-commerce, logistics, consulting or related industries

A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills

A proactive leader who can drive projects to successful completion while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present complex financial information to different levels of stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Proficiency in SQL would be an advantage
