About The Role

Key responsibilities of a Bus Cleaning Operative

Cleaning the coaches and buses to best quality

Sweeping the vehicle and remove all rubbish and debris from the floor, seats and luggage racks and driver’s cabin

Checking vehicle for any lost property

Wiping down all armrests, windowsills and trays

Cleaning windows using glass cleaner and a cloth

Hoovering any carpets (and seats if required)

Buckle up all seat belts, mopping all vinyl flooring, removing seat pads and hoovering out underneath

Wiping Overhead luggage racks and footrests

Cleaning Coach toilets

Completing the cleaning checklist and displaying at front of vehicle

Touch Point Cleaning

Key requirements for a Bus Cleaning Operative

Comfortable working alone and as part of a team

Ability to prioritise and manage an ever-changing workload

Cleaning experience would be preferred however full training will be provided

A good understanding of English, both written and spoken
