Rocksteady Music School is the UK’s largest rock and pop school. We teach fun and inclusive in-school band lessons to primary age children. Our mission is simple: to amplify children's self-belief and remove barriers to music education. We’re currently in thousands of schools in the UK, teaching tens of thousands of children every week – and we’re growing fast.
We have recently opened our second office in the UK, based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter. This distinctive, lively setting suits us perfectly and we’re on the lookout for great people to join our new team here. We all play our part in supporting our band leaders to reach as many children as possible with their lessons. We are a community of music lovers using our individual talents to help give children the self-belief to succeed. That’s what gets us out of bed in the morning.
We’re now looking for a Schools Account Manager to join our friendly team here at Rocksteady, a company with real purpose. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting and varied role, where you will be developing positive relationships with Schools. With excellent product knowledge, providing help and support by actively listening, demonstrating empathy and being solutions focused. As a Schools Account Manager you will
Proactively contact schools to have conversations with Headteachers and other school leaders regarding their experience of Rocksteady. Solve complex school service issues and escalations using initiative and experience to ensure a great experience for schools. Work with other teams to implement long term solutions to help schools enjoy the Rocksteady program in their schools for longer. Engage in high quality conversations, confidently articulate the benefits of our music lessons, and uncover opportunities to reach more children through school networks. Accountable for school retention across your designated area. As a Schools Account Manager you'll :
Be confident, concise, and persuasive communicator Be personable and approachable with fantastic listening skills Have strong empathy and high levels of integrity Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and have a positive attitude Be highly organised and target driven Have passion for problem solving Have working knowledge of primary schools settings or music education beneficial but not essential We appreciate that previous experience does not always tell the full story so if you like the sound of this role, don’t rule yourself out if you feel you don’t tick all the boxes.
