Due to continued growth in our Tax Advisory Group, we're looking for an experienced Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager to join our Melbourne team specialising in Corporate & International Tax. You'll work with sophisticated clients, emerging businesses, multinational groups and ASX-listed organisations on some of the most complex and topical tax issues in the market.
Description of the role
We're seeking an experienced Tax Advisory Manager / Senior Manager – Corporate & International Tax to join our growing Melbourne Tax Advisory team.
In this role, you'll advise private groups, multinational organisations and listed entities on corporate and international tax matters, including business restructures, acquisitions, divestments, financing arrangements, OECD Pillar Two, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions. You'll also collaborate with member firms across Praxity, the world's largest alliance of independent accounting and consulting firms, supporting clients with global operations and expansion plans.
What makes you ‘just right’
CA, CTA, Master of Tax or equivalent qualification preferred.
5+ years' experience in corporate tax advisory within a Big 4, mid-tier or specialist tax consulting environment.
Strong technical expertise in corporate and international tax matters.
Experience managing complex client engagements and advisory projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Commercial mindset with the ability to provide practical solutions to complex tax issues.
Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted client relationships.
What your day might look like
Advising clients on corporate and international tax matters including restructures, acquisitions, financing arrangements, transfer pricing and cross-border transactions.
Collaborating with Partners, service lines and Praxity member firms worldwide while managing advisory projects, supporting tax governance initiatives and mentoring junior team members.
Working with a highly skilled team to solve complex challenges and deliver commercially focused outcomes for clients operating both locally and globally.
