Graphic Designer Faculty

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and knowledgeable Graphic Design Faculty member to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, mentoring students, and helping them develop industry-relevant design skills. The faculty member will deliver engaging lectures, conduct practical sessions, evaluate student performance, and contribute to curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

Teach graphic design courses to undergraduate and/or diploma students.

Deliver lectures and hands-on training in graphic design principles and software.

Prepare lesson plans, assignments, projects, and assessments.

Mentor students and provide academic guidance.

Evaluate student work and maintain academic records.

Stay current with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry practices.

Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.

Organize workshops, portfolio reviews, exhibitions, and design-related events.

Collaborate with faculty members and support institutional initiatives.

Ensure a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field.

1–5 years of teaching and/or industry experience (freshers with strong portfolios may also apply, if applicable).

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Knowledge of Figma, Canva, CorelDRAW, UI/UX basics, motion graphics, or video editing is an added advantage.

Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.

Passion for mentoring students and fostering creativity.

Preferred Skills

Portfolio demonstrating creative and professional design work.

Understanding of branding, typography, layout design, digital media, and print production.

Ability to guide students in portfolio development and industry projects.

Experience with AI-assisted design tools is a plus.
