The Role

Key Accountabilities

What you’ll do:

Apply advanced statistical techniques to analyze large and complex datasets.

Support the development of robust statistical frameworks that underpin AMS thought leadership and research initiatives.

Conduct cluster analysis, correlation studies, and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions and support research objectives.

Identify key labour market and talent acquisition trends, including supply and demand dynamics, pay trends, skills availability, candidate behaviour, and market disruptions.

Develop and validate predictive models to forecast labour market trends, hiring conditions, and workforce outcomes.

Apply machine learning algorithms and analytical methodologies to uncover patterns and generate business value.

Support the interpretation of AMS aggregate data to produce future-focused workforce insights.

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Develop compelling visualizations, reports, and data-driven narratives that support strategic decision-making.

Contribute to data-led case studies, research publications, and thought leadership content.

Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on data science methodologies, analytical approaches, and best practices.

Collaborate closely with the Research Lab and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and define success measures.

Present analytical findings and recommendations to support informed business decisions.

Skills & Requirements

Proven experience applying advanced statistical analysis and data science techniques to solve business challenges.

Experience working with large-scale datasets and deriving actionable insights from complex information.

Strong understanding of predictive analytics, forecasting, machine learning, and hypothesis testing.

Experience presenting analytical findings to diverse stakeholder groups, including senior leaders.

Advanced statistical analysis and modelling.

Data science methodologies and predictive analytics.

Data visualization and insight storytelling.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and machine learning.

Working knowledge of SQL and database querying.

Experience with statistical tools such as SPSS is highly desirable.
