EUROPEAN FMCG COMMERCIAL MANAGER

As part of the Carrefour European Purchasing Group, the European FMCG Commercial Manager, under the responsibility of the Commercial Director, is in charge of the operational implementation of the International Brands negotiation on a perimeter of international FMCG suppliers defined by Carrefour Group and Concordis, as well as to manage a team of coordinators with his/her scope of responsibilities.

The role is responsible for the operational execution of European negotiations with international FMCG suppliers, managing a strategic portfolio and leading a team of negotiation coordinators. Key duties include analysing negotiation results and supplier proposals, building and defending commercial proposals, and optimizing global financial conditions in line with group policies. The position ensures timely signature of legal agreements, accuracy of product and supplier referencing, and proper coordination of listings, innovations and assortment updates across countries. It requires active participation in commercial alignment meetings, strict compliance with commercial regulations, and close collaboration with national purchasing teams and the European purchasing centre. The manager also monitors assortment evolution, ensures accurate pricing and product data, prepares reports on prices and disputes, and maintains strong operational alignment with suppliers. Additionally, the role includes coaching, developing and motivating the negotiation coordinator under their responsibility.
