About the role

Junior Graphic Designer

Start date: 1 October, flexible

Type: Full-time, 40 hours/week

Location: Rotterdam

At Monday Merch, we’re changing the way companies create, manage, and scale branded merchandise. From onboarding kits to event giveaways and custom webshops, we help ambitious brands turn merch into something people actually want to use.

We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Designer with a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of layout and branding, and the energy to learn fast in a growing company. In this role, you’ll work on real client projects from day one: creating merch concepts, visual assets, mockups, campaign materials, and production-ready files.

You’ll be part of a hands-on creative team where ideas move quickly, feedback is direct, and your work can go from screen to physical product in a short amount of time. If you’re excited by design that is both creative and practical, this could be a great next step.

What you’ll do:

Create tailored merchandise concepts and mockups for a wide range of clients

Design brand and marketing assets for our website, social media, paid campaigns, email, and sales materials

Translate creative briefs into strong visual concepts together with marketing, sales, and account management

Help maintain a consistent Monday Merch look and feel across all touchpoints

Prepare print-ready files and check that designs meet production requirements

Support the creative team with day-to-day design tasks, feedback rounds, and client revisions

What we’re looking for

A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a strong portfolio with relevant experience

Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

Experience with Figma is a plus

A portfolio that shows strong typography, layout, colour use, branding, and visual storytelling

Someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working on multiple projects at once

A designer who can explain creative choices clearly and is open to feedback

Interest in branding, merchandise, print, marketing, and production

What we offer

A junior design role with real responsibility from day one

Guidance, feedback, and room to grow within a fast-moving creative team

The chance to see your designs become real physical products used by companies across Europe

A young, ambitious team in the centre of Rotterdam

Free lunch, team events, and plenty of fresh merch

Competitive salary plus holiday allowance
