About the Role

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a busy, collaborative engineering team based in London. This is a hybrid contract role ideal for someone with strong hands-on experience across the DevOps toolchain, particularly around CI/CD platform migrations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitLab, Jenkins, and Gerrit

Build, deploy, and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes

Design, provision, and maintain infrastructure on AWS

Lead and support extensive migration work from GitLab to GitHub

Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline, deployment, and infrastructure issues

Collaborate with development teams to improve build, release, and deployment processes

Document migration processes and DevOps workflows

Work collaboratively as part of a wider engineering team

Must-Have Skills

✅ Strong hands-on experience with GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes

✅ Solid experience with AWS infrastructure and services

✅ Experience with Gerrit and Jenkins

✅ Extensive experience migrating repositories/pipelines from GitLab to GitHub

✅ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

✅ Able to work independently and as part of a team

✅ Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to complex technical challenges
