JOB DESCRIPTION
The Client Specialist is a sophisticated wealth expert that focuses on holistically addressing the wealth needs of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth individuals and institutions. This individual has extensive experience in wealth management and effectively introduces appropriate JPMorgan Chase wealth services to best meet the objectives of each client. The Client Specialist provides high level advice and counsel, offers attractive wealth management solutions, and delivers a high level of service.
As a Client Specialist within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management, you will focus on addressing the wealth needs of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth team members and institutions. You will market and sell JPMorgan Chase wealth management services, source new business, and collaborate with a team of professionals to provide high level advice and counsel. You will also keep abreast of trends and strategies in wealth management and engage with other advisors on client engagement efforts. This role requires an autonomous, sophisticated wealth expert who will focus on creating new and deepening existing wealth relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across JP Morgan Wealth Management. You will address clients' wealth considerations, collaborate with colleagues to provide high level advice and counsel, market and sell wealth management services, and ensure we have a holistic view of clients' wealth and planning needs.
Your new business generation will come from three primary sources:
Bank-referred opportunities
Existing wealth clients
Your own business development efforts
In partnership with wealth advisors and private client bankers, you will uncover opportunities with existing and prospective high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients. Your focus will be generating new business. You will not have a “book” of clients or ongoing relationship management responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities
Collaborate with bankers to identify and prioritize opportunities for new wealth relationships
Engage with Wealth Advisors on deepening existing wealth relationships
Deliver initial wealth management counsel to prospects and clients recommend customized wealth solutions and the right team to serve their needs
Generate new assets under management through a focused sales process
Keep abreast of trends and strategies in wealth management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Series 7, 63, and 65 and insurance licensed
College graduate with 7+ years of industry experience
Proven ability to effectively market and sell wealth management products and services to high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients
A sound knowledge base of investing, trust and estates, financial planning, insurance, alternative investments, family wealth, tax considerations, and other related areas
A self-confident, proactive professional with the maturity necessary to work autonomously and with people of all levels in the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Advanced Degree Preferred
CFP or CFA designation a plus
This position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMorganChase's review of criminal conviction history, including pretrial diversions or program entries.

Compensation
This Other role pays $157k-$285k/yr. Within typical range for other roles in United States.
