Back End Developer

Job Description:

Cape Fox subsidiary, Kwaan Tech, LLC, is seeking a highly organized and motivated Back End Developer to join our team in support of a government customer. This role will lead design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side logic, APIs, and system integration for TSSC applications. This position is contingent upon award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $185,000 - $220,000.

The above salary range represents the company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Key duties:

Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications and RESTful APIs; build/manage databases and optimize queries.

Integrate with Government authentication systems and security frameworks; implement security controls and compliance.

Lead code reviews, maintain documentation, coordinate with front-end and data engineering teams, and mentor junior developers.

Job Requirements:

Clearance: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility and CI Polygraph

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

8+ years in back-end development.

Back-end languages (Python, Java, C#, Ruby, or Node.js); SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) + NoSQL (MongoDB/Cassandra); API design (REST, GraphQL); cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) + Docker/Kubernetes; server-side frameworks (Django/Spring/.NET); classified-environment security.
