Lead the delivery of high-quality housing services across Birmingham.

Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing is a growing housing provider committed to delivering safe, high-quality accommodation and person-centred support to individuals across our communities. As we continue to our Birmingham operations, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Housing Management Officer to lead the delivery of housing management services across our portfolio, including properties managed by our partner organisations, Escada and BSH.

About the Role

As Housing Management Officer, you will oversee the day-to-day management of Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing's Birmingham portfolio, ensuring our properties are managed to the highest standards and remain fully compliant with housing legislation and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with managing agents, local authorities, contractors and internal colleagues, you will provide leadership across housing operations while maintaining a strong focus on customer service, governance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of Twenty Fifth Avenue Housing's Birmingham portfolio, including sites managed by Escada and BSH.

Ensure compliance with housing legislation, tenancy obligations, repairs responsibilities and the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards.

Monitor and review the performance of managing agents, ensuring agreed service standards are achieved.

Manage tenancy matters, including tenancy management, property standards and resident engagement.

Prepare reports for senior management, the Board and local authority partners.

Support and coordinate operational activities across the Birmingham team.

Build and maintain effective relationships with tenants, contractors, local authorities and partner organisations.

About You

We're looking for an experienced housing professional who can confidently manage a diverse housing portfolio while building strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Essential

Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in housing management.

Strong knowledge of the Regulator of Social Housing's Consumer Standards, tenancy law and repairs obligations.

Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to work independently, prioritise workloads and make informed decisions.

A proactive and solutions-focused approach to housing management.

Desirable

CIH Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards).

Experience overseeing managing agents or third-party housing providers.

Full UK driving licence.
