Position: Purchase & Vendor Coordinator Department: Factory Operations / Purchase Location: Vasai (Golani)
Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Purchase & Vendor Coordinator to support our factory operations. The candidate will be responsible for procuring materials from the local market, coordinating with transporters, following up with vendors for outsourced jobs, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for machine manufacturing. The role involves regular local market visits; therefore, the candidate must be comfortable traveling locally on a two-wheeler.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase materials, tools, consumables, and hardware from the local market as per requirements received from the Production, Fitter, and Engineering teams.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
Follow up with transporters regarding dispatch, shipment status, and delivery schedules.
Coordinate with outside vendors for machining, fabrication, heat treatment, plating, laser cutting, painting, grinding, and other job work.
Deliver and collect materials from vendors whenever required.
Verify materials received against purchase requirements and report any discrepancies.
Maintain records of purchase bills, delivery challans, gate passes, and job work documents.
Assist the Purchase Department in obtaining quotations and comparing prices from vendors.
Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and service providers.
Ensure urgent material requirements are fulfilled without affecting production schedules.
Perform any other factory coordination activities assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (10th /12th Pass or Graduate).
Experience
0–3 years in purchase, factory coordination, logistics, stores, or vendor management.
Fresh graduates who are willing to learn are also encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to negotiate with vendors.
Good organizational and follow-up skills.
Honest, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
Mandatory Requirements
Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License.
Comfortable riding a two-wheeler for local factory and market visits.
Basic knowledge of industrial materials, hardware, fasteners, and engineering items will be an added advantage.

Quick learner with a positive attitude.
Ability to coordinate effectively between suppliers, transporters, and the factory team.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
