Position Overview
This Cyber Security Internship offers a dynamic opportunity for an aspiring professional to
immerse themselves in real-world cybersecurity challenges from the agreed start date. The
intern will gain hands-on experience in critical areas like security operations, vulnerability
management, and incident response, contributing directly to the robust defense of our global
infrastructure under expert guidance. This role is pivotal in strengthening our cyber resilience
and nurturing the next generation of security specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Security Assessments: Assist in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and
vulnerability scanning to identify and mitigate potential risks across our network and
applications.
Operations & Management: Support daily security operations, including monitoring security
systems, participating in vulnerability management processes, and contributing to risk
assessments.
Project Participation: Collaborate on active cybersecurity projects, focusing on areas such as
cloud security initiatives and contributing to incident response simulations and protocols.
Skills & Requirements
Experience: Foundational understanding or demonstrable interest in cybersecurity principles
through coursework, personal projects, or relevant extracurricular activities.
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer
Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge or eagerness to learn about information security concepts,
network security, ethical hacking methodologies, and familiarity with security tools (e.g.,
SIEM, vulnerability scanners).
Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, a
proactive attitude, and a high degree of autonomy with a keen eagerness to learn and adapt.
