Vehicle Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. Duties

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues

Perform repairs and maintenance on clutches, brakes, and other vehicle systems

Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs efficiently and accurately

Test vehicles post-repair to ensure issues have been resolved effectively

Maintain detailed records of work carried out and parts used

Assist with vehicle diagnostics using specialised equipment

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications

Assist in the organisation of workshop tools and equipment to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and components

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle parts or equipment

Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Prior experience in a vehicle repair workshop is desirable but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
