Purpose of the Role
To inspect and verify product quality, ensuring company, client, and industry standards are met while supporting continuous improvement in quality, safety, and production performance.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect products and materials to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
Identify and report non-conformances promptly to enable corrective action.
Complete inspections and approvals in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records through quality management systems.
Raise and monitor CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) reports for quality issues.
Support quality assurance activities across production areas.
Provide regular updates on quality performance and inspection outcomes.
Key Objectives
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and production efficiency.
Work collaboratively with the Quality team to achieve performance targets.
Develop and maintain knowledge of quality assurance principles and business processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong commitment to health and safety.
Good quality assurance and inspection knowledge.
Excellent IT and communication skills.
Ability to read engineering and reinforcement drawings.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise workload.
Trade background with relevant quality control or production experience.
Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent).
Desirable
Experience within a large manufacturing or multinational organisation.
Evidence of continuous professional development through training or qualifications.
