About the role
Job Purpose
The Master Data Management Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, governance, and lifecycle management of master data across Audens Food, with an extended scope supporting the wider GoodLife Foods Group. Acting as the key link between business stakeholders and IT, the role ensures that high-quality master data supports operational excellence, strategic initiatives, and business transformation.
This position is responsible for maintaining a reliable single source of truth for Product, Customer, Supplier, and other critical business data, enabling efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making across the organization. The role also contributes to the successful delivery of system implementations, data integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening data governance and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the day-to-day maintenance of master data within Synergy MDM and connected enterprise systems, ensuring data integrity and operational continuity.
Ensure master data is accurate, complete, and compliant with established governance policies, business standards, and quality requirements.
Serve as the subject matter expert for master data management processes, supporting data quality initiatives and promoting best practices across the organization.
Lead the master data workstream in ERP implementations, system integrations, data migrations, and business transformation projects.
Support and coordinate integrations between Synergy MDM, ERP systems, GS1 data exchanges, APIs, and EDI interfaces to ensure seamless data flow across business applications.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues while implementing sustainable corrective actions.
Develop, maintain, and continuously improve master data documentation, governance standards, operating procedures, and user training materials.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing master data processes, governance frameworks, controls, and overall data quality.

Role Dimensions
Preferred location: Granollers, Spain
Business scope: Multiple manufacturing sites across Audens Food and GoodLife Foods
Core systems: Synergy MDM, Izaro ERP, and other connected enterprise applications
Master data portfolio:
Approximately 1,000 product articles and 2,000 product items
Approximately 700 customer records
Approximately 3,500 supplier records
Travel: Occasional travel within Spain and to Breda, The Netherlands
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum of 2–3 years' experience in Master Data Management, ERP systems, or enterprise business applications.
Previous experience within manufacturing, FMCG, food production, or supply chain environments is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of data governance principles, master data management processes, and data quality frameworks.
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and basic relational database concepts.
Experience working with ERP systems, APIs, EDI integrations, and GS1 data standards.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
